Lisa (Rhatigan) Goldstein was the consummate nurturer. She was the beloved mother of three, grandmother of eight and third grade teacher to hundreds. She devoted her life to those in her care. She spent 25 years educating students at Maurice Hawk Elementary School in the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District of New Jersey. Her colleagues remember her guidance, support, collegiality, empathy and leadership. Her legacy will be the impact she had on her students - her unwavering positivity, love, and belief in them.

The Lisa Goldstein Education Foundation will provide annual scholarships (up to $1,500 each) to graduating high school students in the West Windsor-Plainsboro-School District that plan to pursue further study towards a college degree in elementary early reading, math and/or science education. The scholarships , based on student interest, will be awarded to students at each of High School South and High School North. Additionally, the Lisa Goldstein Education Foundation may provide a (up to $1500) scholarship(s) to a college junior(s) currently enrolled in student teaching pursuing a career in elementary early reading, math and/or science education.

Your donation will help continue the fund in Lisa's name so that her legacy lives on by impacting future educators. When you donate, we hope you provide your name and your email so that we can keep you informed on our long-term progress. Foundation administrators are her children, Kelly Griff, Kimberly Fegan and Matthew Rhatigan. Foundation Board Members also include Lew Goldstein, Joan Reil and Andrew Loggia.
